Hey lookie~! Apparently I was tagged for this quizzie thing:
~~~~~
1. What do you want to be in the future, and
why? (why is optional) Likewise, please do not skip the question. You may put
several [or many] professions down if you're unable to choose, or just the
general direction you may be heading in.
I want to be a game designer in the future. This job could include, but not limited to, designing art and sprites, working on game mechanics and physics, working on coding and programming behind in-game actions etc. I'm hoping to study all of them :D
Why do I want to be a game designer?
I would enjoy it. It would be hard, but seeing the finished product and watching people's smiles as they play the game you slaved so hard to accomplish - it would feel so satisfying!
2. Where in the world do you want to go to the most
and why? (why is optional)
Australia. Which is where I am currently. Why would I want to go anywhere else? It peeves me off when people don't realise and value the beautiful country we live in, they're always looking for something different. Australia's amazing guise - just open your eyes XD.
On holidays, however, I'd like to visit Japan for 6 months or something, after I graduate from Uni.
3. What is
your favourite [school] subject, and why?
Urgh, you're so cruel~! My favourite school subject? I like ALL my subjects, however I find some harder to cope with than others (but I still get A's and at the very worst B's).
My favourite subject would probably be English, followed by Maths, then ICT. I would enjoy Maths more if my teacher would stop burying my alive under homework :(
ICT is something I enjoy but because we're still in Year 10 it hasn't been narrowed down to coding yet, we're still doing graphic design - which is okay, but I want to get straight to the juicy stuff XD
I do enjoy Music, but I seem to find it difficult. Nevertheless, I try my hardest and I go for A every time (but I usually get A, A- or B - which I'm incredibly thankful for)
Physics is that subject that I put up with. I don't enjoy, nor do I dislike it - but I get annoyed with my teacher sometimes. I want Mr. Wilke~! I just feel that the subject could be so much more exciting, but instead it feels as though I'm walking to . . .oh, how to put it . . .a tax office, or something. You have to do it, but it doesn't mean that you like it. I just want our lessons to be a bit more personalised and a little more in-depth and challenging. I think that when I get a different teacher in Grade 11 I'll enjoy it more :P
I tend to enjoy Maths quite a lot - sometimes it's almost theraputic to work your way through equations. But then other times it drives me up the wall with its repetativeness.
4. I'll reuse glsmile's question, if that is okay with
her: If time stopped, how would you take advantage of the
situation?
Oh mein gott, did you actually just ask that question? How can I answer that in a simple blog post?
Firstly I want to define that if time stopped it would be done by me, voluntarily, and I would have a way to unfreeze it too. Otherwise I'd spend the whole time panicking andlooking through fantasy sci-fi novels on ways to undo a time-freeze. And I'd get a fez. Definitely get a fez.
Okay, so if the criteria of this particular time-freeze met the above (I had a way to undo it) I would do a lot of things. Firstly I would finish my homework. Next I would watch all the anime I haven't watched yet that I have stashed away somewhere in my bedroom. Then I would go to the store, steal anime, watch it, remove my fingerprints, then return it to the store and no-one would notice. I could do the same for manga, too!
Next I could read all the fanfiction I want! Yippee! Only bad thing is that the chapters would never update. Which leads me onto my next thing to do: I would write a novel or three :)
When I freeze time, can I unfreeze a few things? Like, a car for example? Or the movement of a train? Then I can hop on a mode of transport to Brisbane and input instructions for the train to return to how it originally was. When I'm in Brisbane. I'll find a store with pocky and chocolate-filled marshmellows, and I would pig out. But then I would feel guilty so I would leave money on the counter.
I'm also assuming that you grow old whilst in the time bubble, but when time resumes you return to your original age. So I could find a way to get to a undiscovered diamond mine or build an oil rig (don't ask the how's, I'm just awesome enough to manage it by myself) and I could bring it home and store some in my bedroom, so that when time resumes I'll be rich :D
Okay, I'll also do stuff like learn Korean and Japanese, research univerity courses and visit campus'. I could also . . .listen to music. Lots of music. And I'll go clothes shopping and leave the amount necessary in crystals or little steel boxes of oil. I'll also learn everything necessary for game design. AND I'LL BUY LOTS OF VIDEO GAMES. For research, of course. Ahem.
Well, basically there's too much to put down. Oh, and like Mage-chan said, I'll also learn the flute and tenor saxaphone very well~!
Hey, it just occured to me that the world could have frozen before now AND WE WOULD NEVER REALISE because we would have been the ones frozen, and to us life simply continued - we didn't realise nor even experience the effect of a freeze so yeah. Think about that ones boys and girls XD
5. What are your favourite
things to do, and why? (just in general)
I luuuuuuuurve to read fanfiction, because it's limitless and without boundaries, and I think that the amount of effort, passion and dedication that goes into a fandom that I also love dearly is beautiful. But hey, I'm probably weird for finding fanfiction 'beautiful' :)
6. What type and genre of books/text do you prefer?
("type" may include fanfictions, novels, light novels, fairy tales etc., and
genres is just "romance", "comedy", "mystery", etc.)
Yeah, fanfictions. I also like fantasy, mystery and plot twists, a LITTLE but of romance - likewise a little but of comedy and almost always these must be novels. (manga is in there too!)
7. What do you strive for in life? (e.g. happiness,
success, love, money, freedom, honesty etc.) You may answer differently to the
example if you wish.
Eh, I haven't really thought about this one before, but I'll think about it now. I strive for happiness, fulfillment, coughmoneycough, a little love, solid friendships, eternal mental youth, success . . .but mostly happiness and fulfillment. And a bit of money can't hurt ;)
8. If you could
describe yourself in one word, what would it be? (Hard question, I know. If you
can't manage, I'll allow you to do one sentence.)
Aw man! One word/sentence? Uh . . . "Bubbly"
Does that work for you? *sweatdrop*
9. I'm seriously running out of ideas... umm... do you
believe in the afterlife/nextlife/reincarnation? If so, which
kind/one?
I'm atheist (I don't believe in religion) but I think that it's nice to believe in some reward after we're gone. Personally, I like to believe in Buddhist reincarnation. (is that how you spell it? I mean no offense if I didn't get it right ><)
But something I do believe in is karma - both good and bad.
10. ...what is your
preferred writing utensil? (mine is mechanical pencil btw XD)
My preferred writing utensil is the computer. Either Microsoft Word or Notepad.
11. If you could become fluent/learn any language in
this world, it would be? (If you're already learning one, then say that you are
learning one. If you want to learn another one, then say that you are learning
one and want to learn xxxx)
I would choose English. But since I already know this (duh!) I would choose Japanese, followed by Korean.
~~~~~
Ta da~! I FINISHED! (I think I just spent a whole hour typing that up --.--) BUT IT'S OKAY! XD
